Privacy Policy

Marty provides fantasy football research, draft guidance, rankings, and game plans. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices available to you when you use Marty.

Information we collect

• Account information. When you create an account or sign in with Google, we receive and store your email address and, when supplied by your sign-in provider, basic profile information such as your name and profile image.
• League information. When you connect a league, we store the league and team information needed to provide the service, such as league settings, rosters, schedules, standings, transactions, and scoring format.
• ESPN credentials. For private ESPN league sync, you may provide ESPN session cookie values. We encrypt these values before storing them and use them only to retrieve the league information you ask Marty to sync.
• Draft uploads and preferences. We store draft screenshots you choose to upload, the draft state derived from them, your player tags, and the recommendations generated for your draft.
• Feedback and communications. We collect feedback you submit and the information needed to send requested account and game-plan emails.
• Technical information. We use essential session cookies and limited server logs needed to secure, operate, and troubleshoot the service.

How we use information

We use information to authenticate you, connect and sync your leagues, generate rankings and personalized guidance, process draft screenshots, send game-plan emails, respond to feedback, protect the service, and improve Marty. We do not sell personal information or use it for interest-based advertising.

Service providers and disclosures

We use carefully selected providers to operate Marty. These include Supabase for authentication, database, and file storage; OpenAI to process draft screenshots and generate requested guidance; Resend to deliver email; and ESPN when you ask us to sync an ESPN league. These providers process information only as needed to provide their services to Marty. We may also disclose information when required by law or to protect the security, rights, and safety of Marty, our users, or others.

Data security and retention

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures to protect information. ESPN session credentials are encrypted before storage and kept separately from ordinary league data. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

We retain account and service information while your account is active and as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this policy, including security, recordkeeping, and legal obligations. You can remove a connected league from Marty at any time. To request account or associated-data deletion, contact us using the address below.

Your choices

You may choose not to connect a league or upload draft screenshots. You can disconnect a league from your dashboard, adjust your account information where available, and request access, correction, or deletion of personal information by contacting us.

Children

Marty is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided information to Marty, contact us so we can address it.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as Marty evolves. We will post the updated version here and revise the “Last updated” date. Material changes may also be communicated through the service or by email when appropriate.
